My brother was wrongfully arrested and charged with three felonies back in May 2023. As a family we were dealing with the monotony of the legal system. Matt always had words of encouragement, explained what was going to happen, guided us when we were unsure, and just simply took care of not only his client (my brother) but the whole family. When I presented my situation to him I stressed the importance of having the case dropped completely as any record (felony or misdemeanor) could cause me to lose my work license or have my license suspended. Matt understood the importance and took my case even though it would be about a 1-1.5 hr drive from his office. My case lasted for about 10 months, ending with the DA dismissing all charges completely. 1 /5 Martez Lewis: WARNING stay far away he is one of those attorneys that like to price gouge and get more money he is very manipulative and will lead you in the wrong direction and tell you what you want to hear. he’ll tell you he will file motions never file motions ! if you are incarcerated and are on a payment arrangements he will continue your case to prolong you in jail to make sure he get paid ! when I knew I was in trouble when he made a spontaneous comment to me a client stab him in the neck and he said “Noone want to represent the client and that he will stay on the case to get publicity and to walk his client to his grave!” That was very disturbing and that’s when I realized who and what I was dealing with
