1 /5 Anasa L: I hired Mary to do my chapter 7 bankruptcy. It was a miserable experience. She was incredibly nasty, rude, and, ultimately, incompetent. Once she had my money she forgot I existed. I was just a thorn in her side. From promising to start the job in mid December then I don’t hear from her so I reach out via email for the status. She blasted back with a nasty attitude and told me she wouldn’t be getting to my case until after the new year. Months after she filed I still have creditors badgering me and I emailed her and she snapped back with “It’s already filed. “ no other explanation so I paid it and IT WAS ON MY BANKRUPTCY. Now I have a another collection agency that is still reporting an account that was included on my bankruptcy. I contact the collection agency and they told me that they never received my bankruptcy discharge. I contacted Mary and she is a nightmare. After paying her over $2000 to file, she is refusing to contact this collection agency or send them notification of my bankruptcy discharge. She is demanding a retainer to “clean up my credit” for what should already be resolved in the bankruptcy that I already over paid her for. My advice if you need an attorney is to keep on looking and don’t hire her or you will be throwing your money away and paying for aggravation and unprofessional condescension.

2 /5 Brent Bomia: I called on a Thursday (pre-4th of July weekend) she called me back on the following Mon. She was EXTREMELY rude, and not great to speak with. She told me things I already knew, then told me to get off my high-horse! Due to the case being out of state, she was wrong on the entire code names (in the other state, and I was right after all), and then (thankfully) my phone (or hers) mysteriously disconnected! :) Another friend, Debbie Biel. hired her (I never would after simply trying to have a consultation via phone - I mean, whoa; shes rude as he!! - for no reason at all -) and she now fully dislikes and tells people how much she wishes she had never hired her... In a small town, Ms. Amodio; you should learn better manners as word most certainly travels fast...I should know, Ive lived here my entire life! If I wouldnt have known better; I would have thought she had spoke with the party my family is in dispute with prior to calling me back! She acted surprised, and actually quit speaking (only momentarily) while she contemplated the fact that my correspondence w party in dispute was thus adequately backed up and copies widely available....a very rude and strange conversation as I recall. However, as they say, "...there are a million attorneys out there! ... "

5 /5 Sonja S: Ms. Amodio was a very professional, patient and hard working on my case. She handled it as if it were her own issue, being understanding, up front and honest. She even answered my question via email! She might work in a "small town," but her knowledge is big city. Her prices are fair and competitive and honestly, you get MORE for your money with her! If you are in need of her services, dont hesitate to reach out, shes worth every penny!

1 /5 Rc Vic: One star in ten to many! asAttorney Amodio is haphazard and lackadaisical in her dealing(s) with my Dads Probate and she has taken sides with my Sister, the only other Heir, in their efforts to stonewall me as the oldest and most educated Heir which means nothing to her as it truly appears to be a female thing and when I asked for copies of the very first document(s) that she had sent to me I had to walk her though the whole request as she did not have anything at her finger tips and on record(s). Truly a poor choice for any type of legal representation(s) as she is biased against males (me) as the only male Heir. I would think that when she got older that she would have gained some class but her one-sided approach is leading the way. The creme de la creme is when she told me that she had never met my Dad who she is representing in a 500K Probate Estate. I guess it is one of those brother-in-law or sister-in -law deals after all. I will be reporting her to the legal board for her interference(s) and neglect in this Probate case.
