John went above and beyond spending time making certain my bf knew what was to be expected. With children involved, it truly creates an enormous about of added stress and anxiety. John had the best interest of the children in mind the whole time! Should there be more hearings in the future- he will be most definitely the family law attorney we will go with!

I felt he was quick to the point and very clear with different outcomes for my scenario and he had a plan that made sense. I never once felt like I had spent too much money, nor that I was being taken advantage of in an already bad situation. He often took my emotions into consideration and gave me great advice for dealing with future problems that is still helping me today.

5 /5 Doug R: Do not mistake confidence for arrogance! John is confident. If you want confidence and realistic advice, hire John. Why would anyone want a mealy mouse attorney? In addition, Johns decorum and respect with the Judge on my case was professional yet personal and surely contributed to a great solution for my case. Ill bet you any sum that my ex-wife is the most difficult woman on planet earth... John did a fantastic job with an impossible woman. We averted court with Johns excellent negotiation with opposing parties, and in pre-trial conferences before judges. John has the perfect combination of practical and technical counsel. I would trust John with your family matters... he did a fantastic job for me. John was able to show opposing counsel and my ex-wife, that their case was frivolous and that settling was best. Mr. Hughes spent a great deal of time with my boyfriend to understand the magnitude of the sitution, was very thorough, and went to work on my boyfriends defense immediately.
