1 /5 Heaven Lee: So I spoke with Cierra’s firm a few days ago. Admittedly, I chose to go with this law firm to support a fellow black woman, I read a bit of her story and it moved me. Now I’m grateful I didn’t chose her… Red flags: 1. THEY’RE LYING. There’s no free consultation, it’s an intake to gather your info for them to categorize the case in their system and to also find the best point of contact to make sure you send them the retainer. I’ve had previous lawsuits, cases etc and they’re the only law firm I’ve dealt with that didn’t speak with me directly. They didn’t care about my experience. 2. The woman that I spoke with on the phone, very briefly was actually extremely unprofessional. It was as if she was interning. You wouldn’t expect someone, who I assume would have an education to be in her position, to come off as if they’re not sure what they’re doing and can’t get anything right. It felt like talking to my toddler, trying to get her to understand what I’m saying it was a little frustrating. 3. There’s no empathy or compassion, they just want your money. At least pretend you care lol.
