5 /5 kendra elliott: I had started my custody battle with a more budget-friendly (ie: Better Call Saul) attorney. Midway through the process, I was able to afford better and reached out to a local Facebook group for family law recommendations and found Hills Law Group. I met with Max and Stacy and immediately I wished I had been able to go with them from the beginning. It was night and day (I guess you get what you pay for). Stacy and the team were always available, explained things very well, and helped me to wrap it up as expeditiously as possible. They were willing to fight for me, if thats what I wanted, but were forthright about how it could likely go. They were so helpful in planning my course of action. While I hope to never need them again, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them to anyone going through child custody issues. They treat you like a person and that they care, whereas Ive spoken with more expensive ones (and less expensive ones) that were very curt and didnt show much empathy/ compassion towards one of the hardest times in my life.

5 /5 Burt Ver Haar: Unfortunately, Max Hills wasn’t the first attorney I hired to handle my divorce and child custody battle with my now ex-wife, but I really wish he had been. Frustration and a lack of results lead me to search for a new attorney after two years with my initial attorney. From my initial call with Max, I was extremely impressed with his knowledge, his realistic approach, and professional demeanor. Even before hiring him as my attorney, Max listened to the entire case history and even laid out an overview of his strategy moving forward. Once I made the official switch over to the Hills Law Group, my case was handled seamlessly. The entire team at the Hills Law Group were always attentive to my questions, often offering me much needed reassurance, first rate service, and they were extremely respectful of my financial situation. Max, along with his incredible staff, lead me through all the divorce proceedings – which took near three and half years in total – and an eventual custody trial, at which I was granted equal split custody of my young child. At trial, Max and his partner Stacy Boyer, argued a case before the court that won me my right to be an active father to my child. In essence, they gave me a piece of my life back that I had been missing. It goes without saying divorce and especially custody matters are an absolute nightmare. Make sure you have the best representation you can have fighting for you. With that, I couldn’t recommend the Hills Law Group any higher.
