They helped prove the Madera District Attorneys Office and Madera Police Officers Spears, Noreiga, Boehm, Adams, and Storm were corrupt and falsely testifying. Instead of pleaded guilty to 9 felonies and accepting an offer of 2 Life Sentences, all charges were dropped.
