1 /5 Babak Azimi: I just want to let everyone know to stay away from this firm. Micheal and Laura are a couple of cons. They will turn a very simple case into such a suffisticated matter only to rack up their time. They told me that they would require a retainer of $2,500 from me and whatever was left over would be given back to me. Micheal even admitted that my divorce case was one of the most simplest cases he had seen. No kids and no money. Somehow in a matter of 7 weeks, he and Laura racked up about $6,700 in fees without notifying me. My first bill was for $1,300 of which left me $1,200 from my retainer. Then my next bill within 2 weeks cane to $4,200. At this point, they had not even scratched the surface to my case. All I was billed for was telephone calls that were made internally between them. These are terrible people. I immediately called them to let them know that I no longer required their services and that I was going to come by and pick up my documents that I had given them. Would you believe they charged me $450 document pick up fee. Again these guys are terrible people. They do not have your best interest in mind. I assure you. I hired another attorney and in a matter of 2 weeks, I had a settlement for fraction of the cost.
