2 /5 FJ Hanshaw3: Be ware of the male teller. He does not count the cash he is handing to you. Dropped a pile of ones in front of me to count myself. I believe the bank requires tellers to count cash back to customers. I’ve lost a few dollars due to this.

1 /5 Joshua Cain: An amazingly dysfunctional bank. I am impressed at the complex specifics of how they cashed my checks, lost them, restricted my account, closed the Arcata branch, stopped servicing the ATM, and stopped taking phone calls. Chase Bank literally closed shop and left town with my money.

1 /5 Patrick Morton: I tried to send a wire for a service for my child in another country and the teller said it sounded fishy, and said thered be a $35 wire fee. Then the branch manager told me it was not possible, of course lying. I sent the wire for a $5 fee from the website, should not have even bothered going into the bank. I felt disrespected and poorly treated.

5 /5 Kurt Johnson: Not sure what is with all the cynical reviews, but the actual folks at this branch were very helpful. Shout out to SETH with banking, although Chase as a whole really screwed me over with closing my account (due to electronic algorithms most likely) he went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and my matters were addressed. He took the time to follow up, even though he was booked solid with appointments. I would recommend opening an account here and trust Seth and team to take care of my financial needs.

5 /5 Emily Lin: Love this bank! The staff is always incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. They take care of what I need right away and always ask if there’s anything else they can help with. Security personnel are always friendly too. Staff always confirms the amount I’m requesting, counts it out for me, and offers an envelope and receipt.
