1 /5 Cathy Reay: The review of her never taking care of business is spot on - been waiting to purchase my friends car since September 13th and she is finally paying attention. A total of 9 phone calls & 6 emails for her to come up a different price than I offered on Oct. 27 - excuse me - todays date is January - 5 months it has taken her to get back to me with a made up price and the car is still sitting in her parking lot. My friend is probably turning over in her grave - she loved her car and would never leave it out of the garage but to drive it. YES - stay clear of this so called service

5 /5 Kimberly Collier: Kathryn Cain and Susie Barineau have been absolutely fantastic with very difficult family members. The lawyer at Senior Services recommended my family member get a fiduciary for the financial part of her will. The BEST decision was made, when she picked Cain Fiduciary Services. They helped us caregivers focus on our family members end of life transition, and not dealing with close and extended family fighting over who was getting or paying for what, before she was even gone. It allowed for separation of life care and financial care. Kathryn even offered suggestions to us, we didnt know were available, for care that gave value to the end of life experience. Since our family members passing, Cain Fiduciary has been the executors of her will, and have handled a very difficult dynamic, with grace and patience. Kathryn is WELL qualified and has glowing reviews from many sources, including the county ombudsman and local health care facilities. She takes care of business. This is not an easy business, it ruffles feathers of family members and lawyers that dont like to answer to a third party that is assigned to following the express wishes of the deceased. Were so grateful not only to Kathryn, but to everyone in the office, too, for their compassionate help and guidance. Do not hesitate to allow them to follow your wishes and to be your advocate.

1 /5 Margaret: DO NOT USE Kathryn Cain!!! Working with her has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in business. It’s been 2 1/2 years since the probated court decision & we still aren’t done. It should have been a few months, not years. She neglected my father’s house to the point it was not livable. Someone broke through a sliding glass door in the middle of the worst winter in Tahoe in years. It’s wasn’t fixed until the following August. Someone came in& set up a marijuana grow, with a huge fan & lights. The house became overrun with rats, the roof leaked & she knowingly didn’t fix it, causing lots of water damage. Now, we still can’t get her to Distribute funds she’s been holding for months. The last Distribution was done wrong & we were shorted money, which is supposedly to be fixed now. Kathryn has lied repeatedly, so I’m hoping it will be done right this time. We are planning to file a lawsuit against her for all the damages.

1 /5 Ashley Schaible: This woman is a complete fraud. Do not give her your business. She “loses” valuable items that are supposed to be secured in her office. She takes way longer than necessary to settle an estate so she can keep collecting “administrative fees” from the estate. She doesn’t reply to emails in a timely manner nor does she return phone calls. She is incredibly unorganized and unprofessional. When you call to ask for a status update because things are taking forever, she will reply by email days or weeks later and charge a fee for drafting that email with some ridiculous excuse why nothing has been done on her end. Stay far, far away. Actually, run.
