As someone new to Chico, opening my first bank account in the U.S. could have been daunting, but I’m glad I chose Bank of America. Elijah was incredibly patient and helpful. He listened to me like a friend while maintaining a high level of professionalism, expertly advising me on my account. Despite having a different accent, Elijah made sure I felt heard and understood, never making me feel like it was a problem. I had two appointments with him, and both were exceptional. All my doubts were resolved, and the entire process felt effortless, thanks to Elijah’s guidance. During my first appointment at 11:00 am, I arrived early at 10:50 am and was promptly met by Elijah at 11:00 am sharp. His punctuality was impressive. For my second appointment, also at 11:00 am, Elijah even called me at 9:00 am to remind me and ask if there was anything he could prepare or Set up in advance to save my time—such thoughtful service! When I arrived for the second appointment, I noticed him attentively assisting an elderly lady. After finishing, he walked her to the door, which shows how thoughtful and helpful he is. THANK YOU SO MUCH, ELIJAH! I highly recommend Bank of America, and if you have the chance, be sure to choose Elijah.

2 /5 Lori M: Was good for years. Im a recent fraud victim and they dont handle it well at all ..ask for $ too protect account?? And they own/financially support for profit prisons thru America . I dont want to support such trauma to fellow humans. Looking for a good bank!

2 /5 Richard Utter: Not a good experience at the ATM, shorted on cash dispensed. Presently this site offers only ATMs so called a toll-free number for help. Long long time on hold. Problem not resolved. Tried to reach a human locally but no luck - unable to contact a live person locally. Then tried to schedule an appointment which is an online option; that isnt an option I think due to COVID. Will have to figure out how to escalate this.

1 /5 Morgan Kennedy: I pulled up to this location to use the atm. I bank at another bank but this location was more convenient for me to get cash. When I stepped out of my car I started walking towards the front of the building on Brodway thinking that would be where the atm was located (I was mistaken, it was on the back of the building where I was parked) and as soon as I got to the side of the building a parking attendant ran towards me and started yelling that I couldnt park in the lot. I told him I was looking for the atm and he accused me of lying and then said he was going to tow my car if I didnt move it. I told him I understood what he was saying, but that it was a misunderstanding and there was no need to yell at me, I was trying to use the atm. He then yelled at me again that I needed to park elsewhere. I decided this wasnt worth the trouble and started walking back to my car, while he followed me. I asked him to stop following me and he ignored me, he was behind me all the way up to my drivers side door and then stood a few feet beside my car watching as I pulled out and drove away. I understand that this is this mans job. I understand that this is probably a troublesome location for people parking there and not using the bank. What I dont understand is why this man thought it was appropriate to yell and me and continue to raise his voice at me when I explained I was doing business there. It was unnecessary and frankly it scared me. I was minding my own business and next thing I know I have a man a foot taller than me starting a confrontation over nothing. I tried calling the branch to speak to someone about it, but no one answered the phone even after several tries. I will absolutely never return to this bank to do any sort of business.

1 /5 Geog Acct: As with ALL BofAs this is a one sized fits all WORTHLESS bank. Called this, MY branch for a simple request, was told to call the general number which put me through an ENDLESS menu, then told me to hold "30 minutes or greater". Hung up and called another number which then told me to hold "22 minutes" then told me "15-30" minutes, then told me I am being penalized for not giving the automated system my specific request, which was NOT an option. This while being told endlessly to get their app, as in, dont call us again. This is NOT the first time this bank has been a problem. Calling your local branch is NO DIFFERENT than speaking to their call center based in whatever country it might be in. This bank, and especially the Chico, Ca branch, should be AVOIDED. I opened this account (one of two) while I was in school. It will be CLOSED before the next statement cycle ends and replaced by my LOCAL bank which has LOCAL PEOPLE who can actually ANSWER a question when asked rather directing their customers to call centers to be placed on ho,d for "30 minutes".
