1 /5 Miwok Tribe: This bank had me surrounded 20 yrs ago. Ruined my life & my gf life. Still no apologies. All for asking about my Grandfathers estate & Gold mine to be sold & processed through B of A. It’s sad the way they treated me, my gf & her children. I always thought they would apologize someday but they never did & shame on them for what they done . So much has happened since that day that they sent guns blazing to my Gf door. Shame on you bank officials & presidents.

2 /5 Darrell Reeder: First I will say that the tellers and officers in Placerville get a 5 star rating. My family have been using the placerville B of As for over 65 years. A fue months ago the South West branch was closed with the Sacrament branch the last B of A in Placerville. We often due bank buisness on Saturdays, however the Sacramento branch is no longer open saturdays. About two weeks ago, while standing in line, I was informed I needed to start doing my banking buisness on line. I will not do my transactions on a computer any more due to security breaks and fraud. (I have tried using the banks ATM in the past with a check being lost for over two months befor they found it in the bottom of the ATM, thus I want a one on one with a living person for my banking needss.) How soon before we have to close our accounts and go back to cash only? Then how soon before cash will no longer be available? Darrell Reeder

1 /5 solivagant strxnger: Nobody EVER, EVER answers the phone. When I go into this Bank of America in Placerville, it has NEVER been so crowded that employees can’t answer the phone. But everytime you call & click to speak with a representative at THIS location, it tells you “all associates are busy helping other customers right now, sorry, goodbye!” then hangs up on you. So you have no choice but to call customer service, wait an hour just to speak to some random representative in another state who is typically unable to help you. It is very nerve wracking. I also deposited a check 2 weeks ago, I was told by a representative that once the other bank clears the check that’s when my money will be released. The other bank cleared it, and it STILL hasn’t been released. I’ve been waiting ages. If I could give no stars I would!

1 /5 Felita Estes: My husband went to the bank with a check written on a Bank of America Draft from his sister. She has given my husband checks in the past as they are part of a settlement. The bank refused to cash it. Dillon, the clerk said they wont do it. Dillon didnt check with anyone but was adamant about the fact that they dont do it. Now it would seem to me that they could have checked the account holders account and could have reached out to the account holder. But they did neither, the answer was just no. If banks do not wish to cash checks written by their customers to give to others, then they should stop issuing checks for their customers to use and find another way to conduct business. Afraid of fraud? Bank of America and Wells Fargo are two of the biggest perpetrators of fraud that there is in banking. Go figure.
