1 /5 Francisco Zamora: I would give zero stars if I could. I called Bank of America to get information about opening a new business account, and I was very disappointed with the experience. The representative said they couldn’t provide any information because they didn’t know who I was, which I found unprofessional.
I’ve been a long-time personal banking customer with Bank of America and was hoping to consolidate my business and personal accounts for convenience. When I asked for guidance, they refused to give me any information. In contrast, when I opened my business account with Chase, the process was simple, professional, and polite—they answered all my questions without unnecessary barriers.
I expected better from Bank of America, especially as a loyal customer. The refusal to provide basic information without first proving my identity felt unnecessary and frustrating.
