Sarah Dunn Oh my GOSH!!! I LOVE THIS BANK SO MUCH!!! I was robbed via Apple Pay in another state, CCCU told me to file a police report, cops didn’t have enough to go off of so i went back to the folks at coast central and within a day they got me my money back!!!! I know this might not happen every time, but the fact i was able to go in and talk to a real compassionate team of people was so comforting. They took time to listen and went above and beyond to help me in the rough patch i was in. I cant even begin to express my gratitude. Absolutely amazing people every time. There’s no where else i trust as much as coast central, you guys are amazing, thank you so much!!!!!

Its Gem You’re better off putting it on your credit card or using CareCredit! I would NOT recommend Scratchpay! I applied for a scratchpay loan at the Vets office and I thought I would like the concept of getting a quick loan but DONT DO IT. I would not recommend even out of desperation for saving your pets life or trusting the vets recommendation of using it. They charged me fees and never notified me of the additional fees and they dont send statements! Cons: -The company/lender has extremely high rates—higher than a credit card or personal loan from your bank/credit union. -They do not have any self-serve options to edit/update your contact info online (address, email, phone). -I have to call them or email them whenever I need anything including my statements! (Violation of Reg Z in the TILA, would recommend all to file a company with the CFPB and FTC) -Whenever I emailed them about not seeing my payments online and being sure it was a technical issue, Ethel never wanted to escalate it or help. -Almost every concern or question i have had, there is nothing that can be done about it. It seems this company and its digital platforms were just thrown open without consideration of the user’s/applicants. Customer service and the online platform are extremely and unhelpfully limited. Changes to my profile such as removing, editing or hiding information cannot be done online. There are no log in options and users are forced to not only use their phone number to log into their account but send google their information/phone number (read the fine print at log in). There are NO options to NOT share that phone number with google. Of course like all companies say “we value your privacy” but it is evidently not true with this one. In addition to not being able to control my own profile, this loan CANNOT BE USED AT DIFFERENT FACILITIES. Which means if you go to your primary vet and they start treating your pet and then they recommend you to switch to an emergency care clinic- you cannot use the same scratchpay loan. You will have to take out another loan. Aside from all the limitations, they don’t even give a proper statement! There’s no option online to see each charge. So if you go to the facility 3 different days and get 3 different charges you will NOT SEE 3 different amounts charged and by whom- you will only see 1 lump some. Make sure to get receipts from vet otherwise you’re SOL.
