Michael Smith I reached out to Wendy @ Matsen Insurance Brokers with the intent of acquiring a health insurance option for the small business(19 employees) that I work for. To be honest, I didnt even know where to start with my questions. Wendy was knowledgeable and very informative through the whole process. Wendy was very patient and helpful with our questions for the couple months that it took for us to make up our minds on which direction that we wanted to go with the benefit package.
Once we finally decided which direction we wanted to go, she had us up and running in LESS THAN two weeks! Multiple employees that had no health coverage at all are now covered under an affordable health plan. The employees that were already enrolled in their own individual health plans now have better benefits that they can use more places at less of a cost per month. The savings are extra big when you account for the fact that she also helped up set up a cafeteria account(section 125) to allow all employees to pay for their(and their families) benefits pre-tax instead of out of their NET income.
I was very surprised with how affordable this was for the owner of the business too. It truly made signing up for a plan a no brainer.
